While a cool, gray, October rain splatters against the windows, the smell of pumpkin spice and cinnamon remind me again why I’m so in love with autumn.
Awwwww, Dayle. Short and sweet. That's autumn. There's also a beautiful Village candle (a close second to Yankee----check out their website) and they have a cinnamon orange candle that fills the entire house with fragrance.) Take care and enjoy each second. Susan
Yes, Christine, that is my grandfather's adding machine. I will write about it one day. It's one of my favorite things. He was a railroad man, but he helped people with their tax returns, as well. I can still remember seeing him sitting at his little handmade desk, punching in numbers on this old machine.
Just found your blog. I love Autumn too! What a beautiful photograph, knew it had to have poignant meaning, it is so lovingly aranged and shot. Wonderful that you have your GrandFather's things with you. Minerva x
How I wish I would finally learn how to say a mouthful in a few simple words. This post did it.
