DeleteThis is not an empty compliment when I say that I think THIS is my very favorite garden space I've ever seen in Blog Land. I just love it, and it makes me feel so good inside. I can see how it would give you a tremendous amount of joy.

DeleteAs for those impatiens, the only thing I did was "plant" a bucket of them in my tin thingy and--voila! If they die, I can easily replace.
To clarify, most things were planted in the ground, but I wanted some mobile things to move around, if needed. It is a challenging spot out there. I have full sun in places, filtered sun in places, and full shade in places. Then you have the matter of the sun/earth moving throughout the season, so it's a waiting game sometimes.
DeleteI'll miss all this beauty of spring's garden by the time I make my next visit to the mainland. Thank you helping me, so I won't to miss as much. Love your garden. No one ever could be sad there. I agree.
