What better thing to do, on a brilliant Sunday morning, than spend quiet time outdoors, reading, writing, drinking coffee, praying? It's one of my favorite things about camping, the unhurried feeling that renews and refreshes both body and soul.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him.

ReplyDeleteI have been waiting for it to be light enough at 6am to sit out and enjoy the sunrise. Just when it was close - darned daylight savings time. Now I sit here at 7am and it is still very dark. Patience . . .

I'm not a fan of Daylight Saving Time for many reasons, that being one of them. I wish the powers that be would just leave it alone. Arizona keeps the same time all year, as does Hawaii.

ReplyDeleteYes, Terri. Avid RVers/campers since early marriage years. The Man retired in 2008 and we get to do a lot more of it these days. It makes for wonderful memories.

Well, it has taken me a while, but I'm finally caught up on The Great Cloud Nine Adventure. I feel like a little pest running along behind after the motor home screaming, "Wait for me! Wait for me!"

I'm back to stalking and peeking and enjoying now, at least for a day or two before life tugs me away again. I loved the post about your love for Destin, big hair and all. Personally, I think you're a good artist. I can't draw a circle without a plate to trace. As for the sweet things? We're total soul sisters there. My love nest would be renamed Cloud Ten by journey's end.
I always thought that I would NOT enjoy RV-ing, but catching up on your experiences are certainly making me re-think that. Love the Gateway Arch mug (we're just 20-30 minutes from the Arch) ... and especially love the well-loved Bible.
