Blooming in Concrete

This is my first time to participate in Spiritual Sundays. Thanks to Charlotte and Ginger for their vision. I love the concept already.

The pink impatiens in this photograph was the inspiration for the linked article, "Blooming in Concrete."

When things get tough, sometimes the easy thing to do is cut and run. I should know, since that used to be my way of "coping." But one day, something happened that changed my way of thinking.

I hope my experience encourages you to hang in there, even when things get difficult.

Here's my offering for this Wednesday. Whenever I see The Man back Cloud Nine (our pet name for our RV) into the drive-way, I know something is in store. In the words of Hilaire Belloc, "I have wandered all my life, and I have also traveled: the difference between the two being this, that we wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment."

Now, all I have to decide is if I'm ready to wander, or travel. I'm leaning toward travel.
